Gunslinger Posted October 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 26, 2017 I'm not sure how this insignia could fool anyone into believing it's an Original item. It's pretty clear this is modern manufacturing. Some keyboard collector paid $406.76 for this insignia at auction , OUCH!!!! BILL THE PATCH Posted October 26, 2017 Share #5 Posted October 26, 2017 I was going to post that repo myself, 406.00 for garbage. What a shame Sent from my XT1031 using Tapatalk
doyler Posted October 26, 2017 Share #6 Posted October 26, 2017 I saw it when around $40. Dont usually look at bid history on fake items but one bidder pushed it up and then another jumped in (the winner) surprised as both have a buying history of over a thousand transactions. Hopefully one of these transactions was a black light or a set of eye glasses. This shouldn't have fooled anyone.

Patchcollector Posted October 26, 2017 Share #8 Posted October 26, 2017 I also spotted this auction early on and was going to post the patch here but got sidetracked.I never imagined it would sell for so much. The details on the face are horrid. Is that "greenback" painted on?At least the seller has a return policy, although the 20% "restocking" fee would come to 80 bucks.Still better than 400.. hardstripe Posted October 26, 2017 Share #9 Posted October 26, 2017 He must have seen the episode of Pawn Stars where a lady brought one in. She wanted $5,000 for it. Guess he thought he had a gold mine.

Cheers I bought one from the foundation to make this display in our veterans center. By far the most detailed reproduction and as warroom1 stated you keep the funds going towards their association.
