Help identifying insignia on wool military blanket ?

Hello all,

 

New to forum, and in order to spare everyone from my bloviating on and on about myself, I'll simply say it will be an honor to be a member of this forum, and as I'm sure with all of you, I love collecting and researching militaria....

 

I purchased this wool military blanket recently at an estate sale, the manufacturers tag is missing, however there is an insignia in one of the corners. I've searched a great many military insignia sites and have been unable to identify the marking.

 

If anyone would happen to recognize this insignia and would let me know I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to the Forum.. The picture is a little blurry, but I am wondering if this may be someone's initials H.t. ??? Just a wild guess..

Looks like initials to me too.

I think you gentlemen are correct...Personalized initials... Upper case H, Lower case t.
