gauthieb3sxz Posted October 17, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 17, 2017 Hey Guys, I know this is not technically a patch, but I picked up a grouping from a Sgt. who was in the 528th FS in Burma/China. He worked on A-36's. This mysteriously folded screen-printed large format insignia came with it. It's roughly 2 feet by 2 feet. Not sure why it's so large? Anyway, I'm having a hard time finding what unit it is from. My best guess is the 373rd Bomb Squadron based on the dragon with bombs. This one is a dragonfly with MG ports on his wings and a pair of 500 lb bombs. Any thoughts? Sorry if this is the wrong venue for this, but I thought it my best bet. gauthieb3sxz Posted October 17, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted October 17, 2017 Wow! Thanks - I googled around for an hour and didn't find this. I really appreciate it. I wonder if they had a Disney designed patch?
gauthieb3sxz Posted October 17, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted October 17, 2017 I only say this because the initials on the screen print are not those of the guys referenced in the website.

gauthieb3sxz Posted October 18, 2017 Author Share #6 Posted October 18, 2017 Thanks guys. Any insight into what this might be? It's clearly a well-done screen print and was tucked away folded in a bunch of random paper.
