Another simple newspaper clipping photo with a story.

Leonard was KIA at Anzio on 6 Feb 1944 and posthumously awarded the Silver Star.

He was with HQ Co, 3rd Btn, 504 PIR, 82nd AB

He was from Nanticoke, PA, age 23, the son of Stephen and Mary Chesko. His remains were returned home for burial in 1948.
