I don't write much on the forum anymore but it is with a heavy heart that I write my first post in quite some time. On September 27 2017, my dad lost his battle to prostate cancer. He was surrounded by family in the home he loved so much. Dad served in the USAF 1966-1970 as an administrative specialist and served with honor and distinction at Don Muang AB in Thailand and at Blytheville AFB in Arkansas all while serving with the 97th Bombardment Wing, SAC. Everywhere he went he always made friends, never enemies. Anybody who had the privilege of meeting him would describe him as a loyal and doing husband, loving father and all around selfless individual. He believed greatly in giving to charities such as the USO and wounded warriors. Dad. You were taken too soon. I love you always. You have earned your rest. RIP.

David Gould. December 29 1946- September 27 2017.

And yes gomorgan, I have noticed a startling amount of Vietnam vets passing away from cancer and mesothelioma and such way before their times.
