The caption on the postcard states

He kind of looks like this guy but this guy was a pilot (officer). Your guy seems to be wearing an EM visor hat.

I could only find 5 Harold's on the roster and they all seem to have been pilots. Brown, Smith, Sawyer, Ward and White.

One avenue of research would be to research each of the bowling buddies names and find a hometown. From there search every iteration of the Harold's referenced by Eric and find a match. I don't mind doing it, but it would likely take several hours.
