David D Posted September 30, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 30, 2017 Stuck inside on a rainy fall day I thought I'd share my favorite set of WWI dog tags in my collection. These tags were owned and worn by Robert Riepsame. He served in the 101st Machine Gun Battalion, 26th Division AEF. Before the war he was a member of the 1st Vermont Cavalry at Norwich University. He then went overseas with the 26th Division in October 1917. He served in every campaign and every sector the 101st was in during the war and making it out physically unharmed. The rest of his grouping will be posted soon.
