They came marked as such and the reverse shows that they are like an iron on patch. Any thoughts on these? When, where, are they actually what the index card has written on them? Thanks in advance. Salvage Sailor Posted September 28, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 28, 2017 The images are Cold War Soviet BMP's but the card should read Fort Irwin (NTC) in California As for the 52nd Infantry at Fort Irwin, On 16 January 1988 the following actions took place: Regiment withdrawn from the Combat Arms Regimental System and reorganized under the United States Army Regimental System. 1st Battalion activated at Fort Irwin, California. 1st Battalion assigned 16 October 1991 to the 177th Armored Brigade 1st Battalion inactivated 15 October 1994 at Fort Irwin, California, and relieved from assignment to the 177th Armored Brigade Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
