USAF Small 1st Sgt Diamond Pin (Clutch-back)

Hi Folks: I've had this USAF 1st Sgt diamond for awhile now.....a very unique item and a small item.....I found this in a pile of pins/insignia. Could easily be lost...individual diamond

These are worn with enamel pin-on rank with the old style Master Sergeant's metal chevron. No longer used because of the re-design of the M/Sgt. chevron in the early 1990's.

Cool! And tiny! I would have guessed they'd have made it all as one piece.

Could have also been worn with TSgt rank as before E-8, and E-9, there were many TSgt's who held the position of 1st Sgt.  TSgt's serving as 1st Sgt's was phased out in the early '60's when the entire 1st Sgt career field was re-vamped.
