PaulS Posted September 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2017 I can not find out who this manufacturer is or when it may have been made/issued. It is maker marked "VHM" with post war 5564102 part number. Does anyone know anything about this manufacturer or where I could find such information? PaulS Posted September 25, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted September 25, 2017 Yankee Hill Machine Company. Thank you hirsca. Do you know around what era this was made? When I was in service the M4 rod was also issued to clean our M9 pistols.

I don't know the exact dates, but I think that there are two different drawing numbers--one like what you have and a later one that added the cage number. Go to the 1911 forum. I think you will find your answer there. Al
