milsurp_scout_14 Posted September 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 22, 2017 I got this in a lot of surplus gear--it may not even be military, but it has the feel and the smell. Basically a wool-padded fanny pack with three compartments inside. Made out OD canvas; all snaps are Carr. Has a thin belt. The back has 4 cut-out rectangles which give access to the pouch. The two staples are securing blocks of wood in the two end compartments. There's no markings anywhere. Communications or medical were my first thoughts, but not sure. MikeL Posted September 28, 2017 Share #4 Posted September 28, 2017 Looks like the battery bag for the PRS-3 Detector Set.
milsurp_scout_14 Posted October 1, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted October 1, 2017 Although I can't find a picture of that full equipment set, further research does indeed seem to confirm it as the waist accessory bag for it. Thanks for the ID!
