Marco_01fr Posted September 20, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2017 Hi all,I need some help for these small pockets because I did'nt find anything in my American gear docs, only a photography of a US cavalry man. It is made of web that looks like British Made and has a good M1910 hook. No apparent marking. The set is 16 x 11 cm and the inside of the pockets 3 x 8. It is really to store very small equipment. On a French forum, somebody told me that it was used to store 6 45ACP cartridges, but I can not believe it, because it seems very impractical compared to a Pistol Magazine Pocket or a M1917 revolver pocket... If somebody has an idea ? Thanks for help. In the picture below, the pockets are worn on the rider's bandoleer. Best regards, Marco
doyler Posted September 20, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 20, 2017 The pockets are for revolver ammunition.
Marco_01fr Posted September 20, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted September 20, 2017 Many thanks Doyler, But I don't understand how it can be worn on the bandoleer. Mine does not have double web. Has it been changed by removing a web layer and adding a M1910 hook ? Rgds, Marco
doyler Posted September 20, 2017 Share #4 Posted September 20, 2017 Im thinking it was removed from the bandolier and modified for a belt.
