blademan Posted September 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 19, 2017 I finally saved up enough money for a military vehicle and talked my wife into getting on board as my birthday present. I picked up an older frame off restoration Dodge M37 Power Wagon. It has about 12K original miles and about 200 miles on rebuild drive train. She is pretty much original with 24v system, attic heater. I need to get new tires. Man those are expensive!!!! I recently took her for a 50 mile ride and she drives like a new truck but much slower. I think she is purdy.

earlymb Posted September 19, 2017 Share #3 Posted September 19, 2017 Great truck and welcome to 'Club Moneypit'! If you look around you might be able to find good, used tired for a lot less. Also, I recommend you join the g503.com forums, they have a large section for Dodge WC & M37 trucks.

tankdriver Posted September 19, 2017 Share #6 Posted September 19, 2017 A good vehicle. Last of the flat fender Dodges in service. Vehicle people are really a nice group. Take you wife with you. Once she gets to know people she will really enjoy it. My wife has full a full WW2 WAC outfits for the display's and re-enactments we do. She enjoys the old men flirting with her.....
