SOW question

In the rules it states a spoil must be for a specific vet.

I have a few items that were brought home from WW2 and we know they were brought by family members but there were 4 brothers in WW2 (2 in Europe, 1 on a escort carrier in the Atlantic and 1 in the Pacific) so while we know 1 of the brothers brought things home we aren't sure which one. Is this to vague or would it be acceptable.

We don't have "hard" documentation but a pretty good idea due to letters home we found, other items we know it was just one of the 2 in the ETO. Like the Nazi youth belt buckle I am assuming was brought home by the brother who according to his letter home was currently being housed in Nazi youth camp dorm.

Sorry for the silly question and thank you for the clarification.

I assume the souvenirs are German as you are not mentioning Japan. The brother who served at sea in the Atlantic is less likely to have picked things up.

Go ahead and post your items, and just tell the same story you have told here. It would be great if you could add some details about where they served, their assigned specialities and units if you have such information.

The goal of that section is to share things known to have been brought back by GI's. I think this meets that criteria.

Thank you. Only have 2 Japanese items which I believe were brought back by my FIL as he was the only one in the Pacific.
