I picked up this bunch of photos this morning from the family. They were originally in a paper scrapbook at some point that must have fallen apart. They were then mixed into a couple of photo albums with some other family photos and military photos. I pulled all them out that I think belonged together. There is a lot of damage to them, but they are salvageable. Good thing is a lot of them have writing on them indicating who is photographed, where, etc. The album belonged to John Emerson Elmore. I believe he is in the picture marked "Square Head" and another that just says "John"
It appears they are all from the 19th Pursuit Squadron and from around 1931'ish in Hawaii . There was on photo from 1921, which i was very surprised to see that I have included in the first post. Charles Lindbergh and his wife. It may be a copy, i cant tell. if it is, i do believe its from the period. Very cool and surprising to come across it.
