Bearmon Posted September 15, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 15, 2017 I was very lucky to win this one on EBay, I think the sellers description helped. The seller stated in the description that these all came from his grandfather who was an MAA during Korea and Viet Nam. Ribbon bar, 8 medal rack. MAA badge and patch from the US Colleton, which was a self propelled barracks barge during VN and a TF 177 patch which has a green background, I am used to seeing white backgrounds on these patches. Towards the End of the war the USS Colleton was attached to TF117. I can't imagine being an MAA on a barracks barge. Enjoy ribbon bar and medals

Bearmon Posted September 15, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted September 15, 2017 His MAA Badge, unfortunately I did not get the veterans name. There was also a USN sterling silver ring and a NUC ribbon which came with the group, along with a DUI from the 317th Engineering Battalion. looking for that connection.
