Funny story about Douglas Bader, RAF

I recently stumbled across this story about the famous British pilot and thought that members of the forum would appreciate it. I know it's not U.S Military, so it is posted with prior approval from Tarbridge.

A Myth! This is an old story which I first heard 50 years ago + about a Dutch pilot flying with the RAF explaining his heroism to King Geoge VI as he received the DFC. I doubt that Douglas Bader was involved in this tale - But it is funny! Bobgee
