Hello

What are your thoughts on this Musketoon.

The entire length is 40 inches.

The barrel has some markings

Dated 1863

On the side of the barrel it is marked Blue Gray gun shop?

Put together musket?

Sling original?

Thank you for your help

Tony

It's an (unfortunate) cut-down Model 1861 rifle-musket.

Blue-Gray Gun Shop did (does?) rebreeching and barrel rifling for N-SSA skirmishers.
