Dirt Detective Posted September 9, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2017 Thought I would show my recent find, 100% Rock-Ola Carbine...only down is someone put varnish on the stock. lambo35 Posted September 9, 2017 Share #5 Posted September 9, 2017 The finish does look nice, but, not an original "as issued" look, except for a presentation carbine. If the finish is lacquer, ethyl alcohol should remove it. If it is varnish something stronger is needed. I have used a water soluble "citrus" stripper with success.
