Frank@hoboken Posted September 6, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 6, 2017 I have seen militia coats fashioned in the style of continental army garb. I recently saw this jacket and thought it similar in nature and while the buttons held no markings wondered if anyone else thought along the same lines. Or if it possibly was some sort of parade jacket for a centennial celebration.
Jayhawker353 Posted September 6, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 6, 2017 I'm not sure, but there are a number of very old ceremonial regiments like the "Veteran's Guard" (3rd Reg. Inf. N.G.P. [National Guard Pennsylvania]) that have worn continental style uniforms. I bought one similar out of a defunct theatre's wardrobe.
