patches Posted March 4, 2018 Share #28 Posted March 4, 2018 Just to add this, the most familiar first sighting of the cover in significant numbers, the Mayaguez incident in May 1975. The curious thing about this is even within the Army these covers are not too prevent throughout the remainder of the 70s, less so within the Marine Corps.
