gauthieb3sxz Posted August 29, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 29, 2017 I was lucky enough to score some poorly listed WWII portrait headshots of some WASPs. Each shot was taken and used for their class yearbook. These are the originals that were sent to local newspapers. Snagged them off eBay - each is identified. One was actually killed during her service in a tragic crash. Five in total (haven't scanned the last yet). 1. Mamie Mae Macie 2. Virginia Caroline Moffatt 3. Catherine deBernard 4. Betty Jane Bachman (my favorite )

firefighter Posted September 4, 2017 Share #8 Posted September 4, 2017 Amazing pictures. I have to agree, the bottom one is nice but the top one is cute. Is the last one wearing pilot wings or a WASP wing on her cap?
gwb123 Posted September 4, 2017 Share #9 Posted September 4, 2017 I saw these or similar when a bunch of them ran on eBay. I thought they were undervalued. Congrats on picking them up.
