easterneagle87 Posted August 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2017 Another Oregon find. My trip to see the eclipse was good. I maybe not have stood in the path of totality, but it was still something I probably won't see in my life time again. Found this in a little junk store. It's a lot dirty and has seen better days. I'd like to think I saved it so it would find new life and a new home. The ARCOM w/ "V" device is named to; FRANK D. MULLIGAN Would the forum be able to provide more light on this veteran? Thanks! easterneagle87 Posted August 23, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted August 23, 2017 Thanks for the info. My only question, is that how did it end up in a junk shop in Eugene, OR?? And in such bad shape. The guy in your post looked to be pretty put together and seemed to have a lot going for him. This was not a thrift store, more like a run pawn shop. Could there be other Frank Mulligans? Squeaker Posted August 23, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 23, 2017 Good point. I just made the assumption that the person was deceased, so I searched find-a-grave first and went back from there. There is one person by that name that that comes up as living in Oregon. They are still alive, 65yrs old.
firefighter Posted August 23, 2017 Share #6 Posted August 23, 2017 The ribbon bar looks to be Vietnam made. What are the years on the campaign medal ribbon?
