mike kelso Posted August 20, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 20, 2017 PFC Lyle D. Holloway initially enlisted, March 63, in the Army as a Nike-Hercules crewman. In Dec 65 he transferred to the Medical Corps with at training at Fort Bliss. On 22 April 1966 he was assigned as medic to 1st Bn 26th Infantry, 1st ID in Vietnam. Just over a month later on 29 May 1966 PFC Holloway was killed-in-action receiving a Bronze Star w/ V. He is buried at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Shannon County, MO. I collect Missouri related medals and this is an important addition to my collection. Thanks to a fellow forum member. Mike
