PaulS Posted August 13, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 13, 2017 I just received this really nice M14 stock with a partial DAS and a firing proof mark. Stock also came with stock liner and front swivel installed for $25. On the bottom of the pistol grip is the stamp "4424" OVER "PET" Anyone know what this mark represents and a good book on collecting the M14? PaulS Posted August 13, 2017 Author Share #2 Posted August 13, 2017 I just did some research and the stock has a "H" next to and a "5" below the lower screw hole indicating manufacture by H & R. The ferrule is staked to the stock with two pin punches.
