Keeper for USM8 scabbard

Hi Guys - I'm restoing an Imperial USM3 fighting knife and USM8 scabbard that I picked up at a thrift store. Both were in rough shape when I got them but they're slowly coming along. The one thing I haven't been able to find is a keeper for the scabbard. Is there a company anywhere that sells replacement parts for knife scabbards? Even a reproduction would be fine. Thanks for any help you can give. Steve

I think you are to be commended for restoring that M3. I’ve had a go at a few myself and while the results have not been perfect, I get a kick out of saving them. As for a keeper on your scabbard you may be better off cannibalising one off another wrecked scabbard or better still finding another M8 scabbard altogether. I’m sure the forum here would like to see some pictures of your pre-restoration M3 and scabbard.

Here's a extra hanger for an M8A1, a little rough but the keepers should be the same. If this will help, PM me your address and I'll send it to you via USPS.
