cutiger83 Posted August 6, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2017 Yesterday, I was talking to a friend who served in Vietnam. He had a small shadowbox with his father’s 95th ID patch and his Vietnam Chickenman patch. He didn’t believe me when I told him that his patch was worth quite a bit of money. I am just curious how much his original Chickenman patch is worth so I could pass along the info to him. He is not looking to sell the patch and I am certainly not looking to buy the patch. I just wanted to pass the info along to a friend. Thanks for any assistance....Kat
itshistory Posted August 6, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2017 There could be more variations out there. You could see prices from $50.00 for the US made one to maybe $150.00 for the incountry made example. IH

snake36bravo Posted August 20, 2017 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2017 Just wanted to add that the Co A 227th AHB Patch design was the one used after they moved from An Khe to Lai Khe.
90thDivHistory Posted January 30, 2018 Share #5 Posted January 30, 2018 The Chickenman Patch was designed by Crew Chief #809, Mike Scovel, and it was done at Lai Khe. I was not aware that any were made in the US. as I have inspected several from unit members and they were all the exact same even though some of the guys were not there at the same time. Anyway, I was curious to know if some were made int he US what is the difference between them. Are the two side by side supposed to represent the two options? the only way I could tell the originals was by looking at the stitching on the back. Thanks for any news you can share about this patch. Respectfully, Tyler
