5 x 27 panoramic photo. This looks like it was taken at a Civil War monument

site on Memorial Day circa 1916. This slice of Americana

shows townspeople, children, rows of military personnel, American flags,

the town Mayor, and pictured in the center appear to be GAR veterans looking

toward a preacher giving an invocation. It would be interesting to know

where this was taken. There's a banner with wording on it, but I can't

make out what it says.

Very cool photo!

 

Thank you! It definitely provides a glimpse back to simpler time,

without a cell phone in sight! :P
