Mikeymarine202 Posted August 2, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2017 Hey guys recently I dug out of my closet what's seems to be a ww2 usmc helmet I bought 20 years ago. I can't even remember what the guy told me about it. Its a fixed bail m1 which means its early war. The steel pot and liner seem to be post war repainted. The liner appears to be in good shape it looks to be a Westinghouse liner. Also it has the leather chin strap. The cover looks to be a first pattern. I have checked to see and I cannot find any pacman shapes so I am assuming that's good . if you guys can leave some replies that would be great I'm always open to hearing everyone's experties?
