Frank@hoboken Posted July 31, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 31, 2017 I've had this jacket and vest a while and could never pin down the era it's from. All that I'm sure of is that it's pre ww2 because of the direction the eagles face. I bought it thinking it was ww1. Could never be sure. It has a vest with lined stripes. You'll see the vest in the 3rd pic I believe. If anyone has any suggestions on any other pics that may help give the. An idea on a date I'll be happy to. Oblige. P-40Warhawk Posted August 1, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 1, 2017 Hi, yes I would say Ensign since it only has one stripe on the cuff. The stripe is a little on the high side, and the lack of any branch (line, medical, engineer) mark above it suggests that perhaps it was removed or unfinished.
