bobgee Posted July 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 21, 2017 This unusual document is in a group I own that belonged to a Marine Corps aviator who flew combat in WWII and in Korea. In the 1957/58 period he was an attache' in Germany. While there he completed Jump School with the 11th Airborne Division and the newly reconstituted (1957) German Bundeswehr Jump School in August 1958. I'm guessing its a pretty unique bit of paper. Enjoy! Semper Fi.......Bobgee

Brig Posted October 25, 2017 Share #5 Posted October 25, 2017 That's really interesting. He never would have been able to wear the badge, I wonder if the school was listed in his official record though

He never would have been able to wear the badge, I wonder if the school was listed in his official record though We take it then that unlike the Army, Marines do not wear foreign military qualification and skill badges? Hey note the U.S. Flying Boxcars they had to use back then, Nicht Mehr Tante Ju!
