Found this pic of the 17th Infantry Band among my dad's photos.  He is in the third row up (row of drums), fifth person in from the right side when looking at the photo.

I'm guessing this was taken in either California or Hawaii.  Anyone have further information?

Big talk earlier on Infantry Regimental Bands, they went out sometime in 1942, so foto definitely taken at Ord, without a doubt in the 1939-42 period, one clue here being the wear of Black ties.
