I recently bought a grouping for a TSgt. who served in the Army Air Corps and then transferred to the 390th Infantry Regiment of the 98th Infantry Division serving in Hawaii and then in Occupation Duty in Japan.  Among the Japanese post cards and photos he brought back were these two items one of which I believe is a Japanese Helmet net and the other is a 3 Row with Pouch Leather Cartridge Belt that I can't ID.  There is no military markings on it but it looks martial in that it's unlikely someone would have needed 3 rows of cartridges plus a flapped pouch for hunting.  Is this Japanese and if so is it Military as I can't find anything like it on line or in my reference books.  I know that this the US Militaria Forum but it's the only one I currently post on so any help would be greatly appreciated.
