Brian Keith Posted July 16, 2017 Share #2 Posted July 16, 2017 Really great training aid items from the 80's-90's. I can just hear the tones going off now. Remember the OD green 9 volt batteries? Love it, thanks for posting it. Great go-with item is posted in the helmets section. BKW

Brian Keith Posted July 17, 2017 Share #6 Posted July 17, 2017 It does take just regular 9 volt batteries. Just pop open the battery door and put it in. Of course, you don't really see anything (except a red light at the back)and without the harness with the sound unit, it doesn't make any noise. Not this one, the AA batteries are not the same as store bought batteries. The batteries were different in that on the positive end the cap has to extend twice as far as store bought batteries. I was told Miles did this on the early guns to force the military to by there batteries. The date on this is 1992.
