History Man Posted July 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 14, 2017 Picked this up in a pile of harnesses and was pulling them out to post for sale, then came across this one. Appears to be relatively complete and for a pilot, I'm assuming. Dated 1951 and tested again in 1952, so most likely used during the Korean War. Has anyone seen one of these or know more about it? lucky52 Posted July 24, 2017 Share #8 Posted July 24, 2017 Our flight engineers and crew chiefs wore a similar harness in the CH-47 Chinooks. They were always leaning out the windows to clear our rotors and keep an eye out for hazards we couldn't see. They called it the "monkey harness".
