I would like to know the dates the 509th patch would have been used. Next, is the Cow Chippers an Air Force patch or another branch? The yellow one I`m guessing is some version of an Army 7th Armored Division. The last one is an unknown to me. Google says the words are Spanish and translate to land and attack.post-83107-0-03511700-1499364705_thumb.jpg

The 509th is 60s-70s. The USAF stopped wearing color insignia on green fatigues in January 1981(except special events). The flight surgeons looks like a USAF class patch. The number appears to be 76-3, which would be the third FS class in 1976. Many classes make up their own special class patch. Can't help with the Army, I'm sure someone else can.

The bottom two are reproductions. I do not know the right hand one. The one on the left is a repro of the 7th Cavalry Brigade(?), the Army's post-WW1 all arms motorized unit.

Thanks everyone. I took a gamble when I bought them. I thought the yellow might have been a find because it`s felt. And the one next to it is really thick and it`s made from 2 layers of materials plus someone had it displayed so it was worth a shot.

The Flight Surgeon class 1976-3 patch could belong to the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute. Haven't done any research on it yet, but that is what was on a piece of paper that came with the one I have.
