Greetings,

I'm from New Zealand and although I primarily collect WW2 German bits and bobs, I do dabble into other countries. I actually signed up here a couple of years ago but the only WW2 US related militaria I had was a US Army button of a greatcoat that my father dug up in the back garden (Probably lost during a roll in the hay with a young filly, I remember an old lady telling me about the dances they used to hold for US troops). I have an interest in WW2 U.S.M.C. due to there association with NZ during WW2 and have recently started to acquire some items with a view of putting together a small display centred around the Guadalcanal (Went there in 2003, fantastic place for history buffs). I love the stencilled items! This is a slow project due to the availability in NZ, and shipping from the US is a killer!

Anyway look forward to sharing what little items I have, and to keep learning from the experienced/advanced collectors that haunt this forum.

Regards,

Jeremy.
