I have one with finger grooves and a thumb rest carved into the leather.

Here's one of mine that I think might qualify.

 

 

The modifications are mostly to the M6 sheath and a change made to the guard.

The reoccurring problem with modified or theater pieces is knowing the specific history of the piece. Without the provenance to assume a dependable chain of custody we really can't know where or when a change occurred.

IMHO, these kind of items just reinforce the old adage that what something is worth is what the buyer and seller agree too.
