Just received my Copy of Daniel Morrison's study of these bayonets. Truly a vast amount of information; I keep picking it up and lerning something new. The photographs are a real surprise; "cool" pictures from all over the world.

I recommend this publication for anyone with an interest in US bayonets and edged weapons.

WELL DONE DAN. Thanks for your time and effort with this study.

Just got my copy two days ago. It is a real joy to sit back and read the REAL history of how the US made the P13 bayonet and how we transitioned to making it the Model 1917 bayonet. There are some very interesting variations that I had not heard of before. Also one loan M1917 scabbard sitting in the back of my safe turns out to be a rare, unknown variation. Who knew? Thanks Dan Great book!
