Manu-Military Posted June 18, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 18, 2017 Hi, On the 100th anniversary of the AEF's commitment into the Great War, I thought it was a good opportunity to pay tribute to the Doughboys and by doing something else than an armored vehicle, my 1st motorcycle in this scale. Here is the Aoshima’s Harley Davidson 18F built directly from the box except for three pipings (including the two with a loop) and the speedometer which is made using a real spring. Thank you for coming here and have a good ride. Manu

Manu-Military Posted June 21, 2017 Author Share #9 Posted June 21, 2017 Thank you all for your kind comments. To reply to the questions: - As the post says and like all my models, the scale is 1/16. - the model was entirely built out of the box. I found no problem, this is a real fine and neat model, pretty accurate, finely moulded with clear instructions. As said the only parts I rebuilt are - the copper line that starts on the left side under the tank, going across the two engine cylinders and ends on the right hand side in the aluminium carter, - the grey oil line with a loop and the other one, both on the left hand side, as well with a loop. I needed to replace the first two two since the parts as they were supplied didn't really fit, one was far too long and the other one wasn't realy in the good shape. The third one (the gas feed line) wasn't supplied. Cheers, Manu
