N.B.I.Co Japan

N.B.I Co. Japan was the hallmark for Nippon Badge and Insignia Company of Japan. This company manufactured insignia during the occupation period after WWII for the US Forces stationed there. Here are a couple of examples of the Combat Infantryman badges they made. The second award illustrates that N.B.I Co. was in business well after the Korean War. One source indicates that they were still in business until the 1960's. In the next frame I will show the back sides. Note that this hallmark is the two line style.

Reverse side of above CIB showing one line hallmark. One can only speculate about the differences. Perhaps a die change or made during a different period. All quality insignia.
