Hi,

I have this brass plaque I got from a 101st vet a number of years ago.

He said the locals gave these to US personnel after the battle.

The back is marked made in Couvin Belgium.

The plaque is about 6 inches in diameter.

They must be somewhat common, does anyone have any more info. on these?

Thanks, David

Thank you guys for the information.

The use of brass shells makes sense since that

would have been a free source of brass during a time of

shortages.
