Patchcollector Posted June 12, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2017 Hi all,I picked up a pair of these and I'm seeking some opinions on them. They're still on the cards, marked "A G.N CO. Product","Gold Plated", and "Made in U.S.A".I measured one and it is approximately 1 3/4 from Wingtip to Wingtip, and a bit more than 1 inch high. They have nicely detailed feathering and a simple latch type attachment on back. The back is also nicely toned, perhaps by some sort of heat process(?)What I'm unsure of is if they are Military,or some sort of civilian piece.I don't have much in them so I won't be shattered if they turn out to be the latter.Sellers pics. Any info and comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks!

Kimo Posted June 13, 2017 Share #4 Posted June 13, 2017 Did they make these in the 1930s for wear on uniforms with such flimsy and poorly aligned attachment pins? My initial thought is that it appears to be more like a sweetheart item, perhaps from the 1930s? Also, I thought the ones that were worn on uniforms had gold wings and silver props? This one appears to be gold all over?
