36-tex Posted June 12, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2017 Can anyone ID this one? The lettering looks like "BCC" Thank You!

468abnarm Posted June 12, 2017 Share #4 Posted June 12, 2017 Interesting patch for sure. I wonder if the combination of applique and printed ID indicates it is a patch used in more than one location.
RustyCanteen Posted June 12, 2017 Share #5 Posted June 12, 2017 I think it said 'A T S' and someone removed it, then marked it 'B C C'. Check out the rear stitching.

36-tex Posted June 13, 2017 Author Share #8 Posted June 13, 2017 I think the ATS idea is not right. If indeed it does say ATS, why can you read it on the backside? Wouldn't the lettering be backwards on the back of a patch? In person I do not make out the ATS.
BILL THE PATCH Posted June 13, 2017 Share #9 Posted June 13, 2017 I can see on the back of #3 ATS very faint, Sent from my XT1031 using Tapatalk

Wouldn't the lettering be backwards on the back of a patch? In person I do not make out the ATS. I flipped the image around so it could be read, but yes it will look backwards when actually holding it. There are old stitching holes from the letters, and even the square periods. RustyCanteen Posted June 13, 2017 Share #11 Posted June 13, 2017 This is the original image in post #3, cropped and the stitch holes outlined. Since this is the back, it is backwards.
