jefmil Posted June 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2017 I'VE BEEN TOLD ONE OF THESE PATCHES IS RARE. ANY COMMENTS APPRECIATED. SORRY MY COMPUTER WOULD NOT ROTATE BACK IMAGE AND RESIZE IT AT THE SAME TIME.
tredhed2 Posted June 10, 2017 Share #2 Posted June 10, 2017 The larger one may be rare due to size and the brown edge to the skull, but that does not always translate to desirable. It looks like a manufacturer's test run except for size. Too much exposed medium, too.

Teamski Posted June 11, 2017 Share #4 Posted June 11, 2017 I believe the larger patch is simply missing the merrowing and was never completed. Just a personal observation..... -Ski
jefmil Posted June 11, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted June 11, 2017 Dave and Ski, That was as close as i could get when I was trimming off the merrowed edge with scissors ! Just kidding - doesn't sound like I can sell this for anything. J

Sam Shooting team patches I have come across tend to have some sort of lettering to that effect. Am skeptical of this explanation for size. Teamski Posted June 27, 2017 Share #8 Posted June 27, 2017 OK, the larger one shown here is the standard sized 163rd patch commonly found merrowed. It is not oversized. The early version was undersized. -Ski
