swmdo Posted June 10, 2017 Share #3 Posted June 10, 2017 Looks like an escort carrier fantail. I could not find the GC definition. But, not sure what other type if carriers would have aircraft. Maybe Essex class of carrier? Are those bearcat aircraft? Korean War era? I don't think it's the same ship and the name is on the stern/fantail not the bow of the ship...the pointy end is the bow.
