texasflyguy Posted June 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2017 Hello everyone! I'm a newbie to this forum. I recently acquired this military publication and I was curious to see if anyone knew more about it than I do. I have not been able to find anything about it on the internet and similar copies seem to be scare as hen's teeth. As you can see from the photo it is titled, "The Atomic Bomb" by the Army Air Forces. It measure 21"x18" with 19 pages including the front and back cover page. Inside it contains a tribute page to the men who lost their live to end the great conflict. It contains full page prints of pre and post strike reconnaissance photos of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as images of the bombs being detonated. The only thing that I know about it is that it was a victory album which was printed on the island of Guam. Does anyone have something similar?
