hunterman Posted May 28, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 28, 2017 This is my first posting on this forum so be patient if I mess up. I have the opportunity to obtain a helmet described as: "MC CORD fixed bail 306A October 1942 production, original rough paint, khaki webbing, brass buckle, liner Firestone, original green paint, khaki webbing original and rare leather chin strap with green buckle, letter K written on webbing." Here are some pic (I hope). I'm interested in opinions and possible value.

Ronnie Posted May 29, 2017 Share #4 Posted May 29, 2017 Very nice helmet. In this condition I have seen these go for 200 to $250.00. In some cases more. Hope this helps. Ronnie

BOLO Posted May 30, 2017 Share #8 Posted May 30, 2017 looks like a nice example of a complete wartime M1 helmet set, I would recommend adding it to your collection as long as the price is reasonable.
