AN/URC-4 Survival Radio

Hi,

 

I picked up this old survival radio at a show last weekend for $10. The antennas are all there as is the cable for the battery pack but there wasn't a batter pack included... Looks good displayed next to some of the helmets.

Here's a shot of the antennas up and the battery cord.

 

I also picked up a nice complete SRU-21/P army survival vest at the same show. All the gear is in place in the pockets and the contents are dated from 1989 - 1992. The only thing the vest is missing that I can tell is the PRC-90 radio. I'll try and post some pics of the vest this weekend!

Thanks John! I thought $10 for the radio was a steal. Is it impossible to find the battery packs for them these days?

 

Speaking of radios, you wouldn't happen to have a spare PRC-90 would you?

The local AN store has a few...or had a few...kinda cheap too...so will pop in there Tuesday and check it out for you...they have several of the radios u have...not sure if they have the battery but again,,,,will check
