triplecanopy Posted May 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 26, 2017 Here is an uncommon hallmark on a Parachute Badge, Metal Arts Company. They are located in Rochester, New York and it looks like the company is still in business. I know that they made jewelry and sweet heart pins and some were made of Sterling Silver. I have yet to find a Sterling marked parachute badge made by this company, but I suspect that there may be some out there. They also used the hallmark MACO on some items. The badge illustrated does not have the IOH numbering system mark, but since it is made of 1/20th Silver Filled, I would guess this badge was made after 1965 and before 1980. Anyone want to add info about this maker, please do so.

triplecanopy Posted May 26, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted May 26, 2017 Here is another Metal Arts Company production item. It is marked MACO ROCH N.Y. Sterling. This appears to be a sweetheart pin of the Airborne Command during WWII. The letters are hard to make out clearly in the photo, but examining it with a glass allows the details to be seen.
